How it started

My love of dogs began when a stray Border Collie turned up at my workplace. I took her home, she threw up in my car, no one claimed her. I fell in love and I called her 'Lucy'. I did some agility training with Lucy and we both enjoyed it so much that I decided to start looking for a second dog. Off to the pound I went and in a few days I had found a desperate lurcher puppy. I called her 'Chance'. She was the kindest sweetest little girl. Both of these dogs have now passed away but they left me wanting to help more rescue dogs. Then along came Sooty and Sweep from an Irish rescue charity called 'Cara Rescue'.

I started pet sitting and dog walking in 2014 whilst still living in Ireland. I had a small number of regular customers and I truly enjoyed spending time with the animals I took care of. I moved to Ilkley in 2019 and decided to set up my own business doing a job I loved!

I've now been in business for over five years and I'm proud to say that the majority of pups who joined me at the start are still with me. I understand that life can be unpredictable, so I do my best to be flexible for my customers and accommodate changing or ad-hoc walks whenever possible.
